Today, we submitted our contribution to the European Commission’s call for evidence on the Skills Portability Initiative.

We outlined several important points that we feel should be taken into consideration when approaching the topic of skills portability and labour mobility such as: sharing best practices, digitalisation of the qualifications to improve recognition, using existing tools, improved coordination and ensuring that new and existing legislative proposals do not duplicate efforts but rather compliment one another from the beginning.
