Under the theme “Brussels from the Inside. Beyond Succession: The Future of Family Businesses”, NextGens from family businesses across Europe will come together for two days of inspiring discussions, shared experiences, and valuable connections.

One of the highlights of this year’s programme will be a visit to the European Parliament, where MEP Fernando Navarrete will host our group. Participants will have the unique opportunity to receive first-hand insights into the work of the European institutions and take part in an open and engaging discussion on the challenges and opportunities facing family businesses across Europe.

We will also have sessions by renowned speakers, Rania Labaki, Full Professor of Management at EDHEC Business School and Director of the EDHEC Family Business Centre, Prof. Stefano Orioli, DBA candidate and Adjunct Professor at IE University, and Filippo Garrone, Corporate Finance Specialist at San Quirico S.p.A., who will share the story of his family business and its entrepreneurial legacy.

We are pleased to announce that Commissioner Glenn Micallef, responsible for Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture and Sport, will welcome us at the European Commission. This is a unique opportunity to meet the Commissioner and gain a closer insight into the work of this institution and its role within the European Union.

Following the meeting, participants will have the opportunity to have a guided tour of the European Commission building. 

This does mean that our programme will be extended.
