KPMG Private Enterprise and the STEP Project Global Consortium are joining forces for a third year to gather real-time data from family firms in a post-pandemic world to gain a better understanding of the success factors that contribute to the continuous regeneration of family businesses.
The data gathered from this survey, in combination with applied research and shared experiences from academics and advisors to family businesses, will provide meaningful insights which will help family businesses learn from each other’s experiences and provide practical considerations to help family business leaders advance their business into the future.
The confidential survey, which takes 15 minutes to complete and is available in over 15 languages, will explore how the pandemic has impacted diversity in strategic decision-making, the involvement of multiple generations of family members, and changes to leadership and stewardship.
The data gathered from this survey will be used to develop the 2022 Global family business report, in collaboration with the STEP Project Global Consortium, and is expected to be released in Summer 2022.
Previous reports developed as part of this strategic alliance include the article series “Empowering the future of family business”, the Global family business report: COVID-19 edition titled “Mastering a comeback: How family businesses are triumphing over COVID-19” and the European family business report: COVID-19 edition titled “Taking the long view: Lessons in endurance from European family businesses”.
Please spare 15-minutes of your time to share your valuable insights and complete the survey here.
The survey should be completed by the senior family leader, CEO, Chairman of the family council or an appropriate leadership position in the family business. The survey will close on 31 October 2021.
