This year’s summit will be held from the 17^th and 18^th of November in Lisbon. President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa will deliver the keynote address.

Thanks to the invaluable support of Empresas Familiares, the voice of Portuguese family businesses, we have been able to organise this joint event and, on this important occasion, President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa will deliver the keynote address. We have also managed to secure top speakers including US Ambassador to the EU, Anthony Gardener.

The 3rd European Family Business Summit will focus on the challenges and opportunities that family businesses face in the Digital age, and the role of family businesses within society and the position of family business in this challenging political landscape. We will also discuss ways that family businesses can help meet the pressing youth unemployment challenge. Furthermore, the Summit will have a particular focus on the major challenges currently facing the unity and future of the EU.
