Finnish Family Firms Association elected EFB Vice-President Alexander Bargum as its new chairperson
EFB Vice-President Alexander Bargum has been elected as the new Chairperson of Perheyritys (Finnish Family Firms Association). Mr Bargum is the 4th generation owner of Algol, a Finnish multi-industry group in imports, wholesale and industrial services, and has been group CEO since 2012 and a Board member since 2006.
EFB would like to congratulate Mr Bargum and wish him all the best in his tenure as Chairperson.

José Luis Blanco, new Executive General Director of the Spanish Family Business Institute
The Board of Directors of the Instituto de la Empresa Familiar (The Spanish Family Business Institute) has appointed José Luis Blanco as the new Executive General Director of the organisation. Mr Blanco has extensive professional experience as a partner of Garrigues and Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira, and as founder and managing partner of Latham & Watkins in Spain from 2007 to 2017. He is also a member of the Institute of Governance and Society and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
