In the run-up to the EU elections, the METI released a report containing 15 proposals to boost the European Economy.
Back in May, just before the start of the EU elections, our member from France, Mouvement des Enterprises de taille intermediaire (METI) released a report containing 15 proposals to boost the European Economy. Most notably, they call for the creation of a “European growth passport” (which would protect mid-sized enterprises and rapid-growth SMEs from the effects of thresholds, in particular during their phases of strong growth and of scaling up) and, to better assess the specific economic contribution of these enterprises. Furthermore, the METI calls for the creation of a statistical workable mid-sized company category at the European level.
