Following consultation with the EFB Board, the decision has been made to move EFB’s Summit for 2021 online.
With the current situation surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the board decided that with the uncertainty surrounding travel and focusing on the health of our members, this was the best solution so that EFB would still be able to host an effective event, having not held a summit in 2020.
This means that EFB’s summit in Helsinki, in partnership with our Finnish Chapter Finnish Family Firms Association (FFFA), will be held in 2022 and we look forward to once again meeting our members and business owners across Europe then.
The online summit will be the “European Family Business Week”, spread over the course of 4 days, between 25th-28th May 2021. The event will consist of a 90-minute webinar each day, exploring a different topic area with top level policy makers, family business owners and academics joining to share their expertise with top family business owners from across Europe.
Confirmed speakers already include European Commission Vice-President Valdis Dombrovskis and Executive Director of the Family Business Centre at Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business Andrew Keyt.
We hope that you will join us there and we look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be an insightful and entertaining event.
