In the latest transnational meetings, EFB presented their finalised educational module on family business governance structures and were able to share this with the fantastic team of academics and organisations that make up the SPRING Project consortium.

The transnational meeting saw some excellent modules presented in what promises to be a vital research project for the family business community.

Following the finalisation of the educational modules, the consortium then prepared to launch the pilot schemes of their educational modules for family business owners from across Europe. The launch of the initial pilot programme is now scheduled to take places in early 2021, and, due to the disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic, will take place online in a series of transnational webinars. These webinars commenced on 12th January 2021 and will run every Tuesday between 15.30-17.30 CET until 2nd March.

The programmes will give insights and information on processes within family businesses and provide expertise and vital information for family businesses across Europe. Confirmed speakers already include noted family business academics Dr Rania Labaki and Dr Salvo Tomaselli as well as EFB’s Secretary General Mr Jesus Casado.

All EFB members and businesses across the family business community are invited and encouraged to take part in these programmes which are a great resource for family businesses and act as a great training module for business owners and next generations alike.
