On 25th of November, Berlin was the setting for the first European Family Business Summit. Family business entrepreneurs from across the European Union came together to discuss salient political and business topics facing family businesses across Europe.
Following the tragic events that unfolded on Friday night in Paris, it is with great regret that European Family Businesses has decided to cancel the 2nd Summit. The French President has declared a nationwide state of emergency until Thursday, and three days of national mourning. Consequently, hosting the event in the current climate is not possible.
On the 18th of November, the 3rd European Family Business Summit took place in Lisbon. 140 family business leaders from 17 countries came together to discuss topical political and business issued faced by family-owned companies.
